i had one question thought, does anyone know what the FLASH895.exe program does? It came in the zip file of the bios update and I haven't run it ( and frankly Im too scared to run it )

I just updated my BIOS, with the @BIOS utility. And everything went well.

I think that FLASH895.exe file, was meant to be put in the floppy, along with the BIOS file...if you were doing the floppy method. So it's not necessary to run it, when you've flashed your BIOS already.

Since I have a p35-ds3r rev1.00, I just flashed my BIOS to version F6 using @BIOS in windows. I had no problems. The download of the drivers comes with that utility, flash 895.exe, which I ran - it is just a DOS-esque flash utility. Stick with @BIOS or QFlash for windows and boot phase, respectively.

Merely load the .f6 file as your new bios.
