Yeah, I have read that the 8800's cooler is really good, considering it being stock and all. Obviously if the whole 8800 for christmas thing falls through I'll be going with the 7900 GS or GT, I'll decide which one when the time comes.
I would rather have the 8800 because it is DX10, but also because of the larger memory. I read somewhere that once you start going past 1280x1024 and up it is more beneficial to have 512mb or more ram. Not sure if that is necessarily true or not, but I can't for the life of me remember where I read it lol
