The hd4850's are getting very close to nvidia's performance in crysis due to increased driver support...

Well from what I've seen the HD 4850 is a grrrrreat card for that price

With good cooling (I've heard) it can be over clock to match or get close to a 4870

You can't go wrong with a 4850 my friend

Comes with a nice factory OC and a $30 MIR

Newegg.com - ASUS EAH4850 TOP/HTDI/512M Radeon HD 4850 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFire Supported Video Card - Desktop Graphics / Video Cards

a lil slower but prettier than the other and more expensive with no MIR

Newegg.com - MSI R4850-512M OC Radeon HD 4850 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFire Supported Video Card - Desktop Graphics / Video Cards

of course you can always overclock if needed
