Best sound card 7.1

I am looking for the best sound card for a 7.1 system. I know best is not really the best to use. So top of the line. I do not care price just what is the best. It use to be all of the creative sound card stuff. Now I am not sure what it is. So if anyone could tell me I really appreciate it vary much.
