Not real specific, DDR2 800 will be fine....1 or 2 PCI-E slots. P35 or X38, no preference. Just the best for the money.

Do you plan on going crossfire or SLI or just single card?

SLI = evga 780i
Single card p35 = gigabyte p35-ds3r
Crossfire x38 = gigabyte x38-ds4

Multi card solutions either crossfire or Sli are still not worth it and probably won't be for a long while.
