Default Best monitor choice for multimedia/gaming

For gaming/multimedia what monitor setup should i have?

- Dual Monitors ( 1 screen tv/games other screen general use)
- Widescreen LCD 19"

Remember id use it for tv, games and general use. All help appriciated.

well what would the combination of two monitors be? personally i would prefer 2 decent monitors to one widescreen. i also think widescreen's are pointless. in my opinion also CRT monitors are greater than LCD screens but that seems to be a very subjective fact (despite specification wise in most regards CRT's are superior to LCD's).

thanks, id have one screen for multimedia the other for general use. More suggestions please.

I have a 17' NEC 70GX2, and let me tell you this the the BEST LCD ever. Its only 4ms/700:1 Contrast and has a Opticlear screen. The picture is superb and looks like its HD.

I guess the bad side of it is that it costs as much as a 19' LCD. 279$

Read reviews on it if you dont believe me.

well i guess i'll just point out that i do have a dual monitor setup and if you can spare the desk space then if i were you i wouldn't have it anyway
