Best monitor 22-24 inch

Ok so I have my setup of what I'm ordering from new egg.
750tx corsair psu
5870 radeon card (if they get in stock in time) other wise gtx 285 x1
ocz platinum or corsair- memory
asus p6t delux v2- mobo
western digital black 1tb HD
intel i7 920
windows 7
Then just the case/heatsink

so I play WOW/starcraft/ and am wanting to play crysis and cod mw2
I'm used to a 19" screen.

I'm thinking a 24 would just be awesome! Or would that be to big? To much on the screen to pay attention to.. Or does it suffice? And any sort of brand I should go for? Or stay away from. And can I play the games on the highest setting just fine with the 24 with my current setup?

I love the 24"... and if you act quick newegg has a sale for 24" samsungs.. which I also highly reccommend... love me some samsung LCDs... as for settings... you should be fine on wow/starcraft... crysis is hard on any system and i dunno about MW2.. but even if I took a HUGE fps drop for having a 24" i'd still do it... i'm even thinking of going 28"...

what do u think? Or would samsung be a better choice.. I have the $.

So a 24 inch would be fine..? It'sstill going to be smooth gameplay? Or would I need to get 2x gtx 285 for the best play with the 24

24" should be good on a gtx285 for almost every game. And that looks like a great monitor. I have a 24" lcd from LG also. Not the same one though.

I personally would take the samsung.. I own one, and love it. The difference between mine and my brother's 22" LG is night and day, the samsung's colors are way better.

^ I vote samsung 100% - I am a fan of their quality, even if you pay more for it..

You might as well wait for the next gen Nvidia's - upgrading now seems like a bad idea (I want to do the same thing.. but I'm waiting) - either the 285's price will drop, or the new card will be baller enough to warrant buying it over a second 285...
