ORLY? i thought they were in the same class as X-connect/X-connect 2

Thermaltake ToughPower 750w Modular SLI Certified Power Supply

I was leaning twoards this or

Thermaltake Toughpower 1000w Power Supply

I was going for the 750W one, would it still run ok if I use PCI-e adapers on the 750W version or is it better to go with the 1000W psu since it already has the connections on the PSU?

Uh when your wasting that much money I wouldn't get a Hiper ..

So what exactly is your reasoning against 8800GTX slied instead lol?

I already have the GX2's and need new PSU anyways. and my contact can't get the 8800's yet because a bunch of ppl got caught and the heat is on atm

Screw brand vs brand crap...

Id be asking modular vs regular. If I was powering something that beastly, I would definantly want the least amount of connections possible to keep efficent, clean, and stable power going to your components.

Just me, but I wouldnt get a modular psu.

I'm with fade2black and Apokalipse, as I have one too. And it's been on load 24/7 since January, except for upgrades. Very reliable and stable.

btw...fade2black...how was Quake Con?
