Its settled then, im getting one. Especially since these i7 quad cores are so out of date now, hahaha...

Theres no such thing as futureproofing - just get the best value you can for your money, but keep in mind an i7 will be easier to upgrade in the future and last longer.

There is such a thing as futureproofing. Building with the option of upgrading, and building so you won't have to upgrade MUCH in the future. You have an i7 and a GTX 285. Let's see how long it takes for them to be overloaded.
