As much as I hate you jacking my thread, I'll answer it.

SLI is a way of connecting two Nvidia video cards together so they work as one card, each rendering half the screen. Bascially like a super video card.

I've got an interest in web design and graphic design, so I'm thinking maybe these dual core chips will aid me in the future when I start taking some classes on those topics. Maybe get dual moniters, play BF2 on one moniter and PS on the other, lol.

You got to be kidding me? They actually programmed it to accept single and dual core processing?

And as for upgrading your system, yeah do that now. That system is quite old hehe. Sorry for being pessimistic and lecturing but I get a lot of people that ask if they should upgrade when they have athlon 64 3400+'s to 3700+'s .... I mean come on! Why do that? There may be an extra 4-5 fps gained in a $100 step.
