Best Desktop I can get for 1200?

Hey guys, I recently had a job offer and a guy is willing to get me the best PC I can get for 1200, in exchange for me doing some graphic work for him. He's seen my portfolio however I am without a computer that has the .. ability to do what I need it to do.

What it should be able to do:
Handle high quality gaming graphics. (Mainly WoW On Ultra, and Vindictus, Crysis, etc.)
Handle long hours of Photoshop, and multiple programs running. (Usually Photoshop, Flash, 2-5 notepads and a few tabs of Chrome.)
Must include a nice mouse, keyboard and screen. (Screen is not NEEDED, But if you can find me one that is great for this and has a screen that would be amazing.)
Have Wireless capabilities.
500gb+ Hard drive that should load things quickly.
Can not overheat, ever. BADDD things happen when it overheats.

I really appreciate it guys, I might be able to throw a few bucks at whoever can build my dream computer via paypal. I really just need this computer to haul multiple massive programs, and be great for gaming aswell.
Im not opposed to touch screen all-in-ones if they work.

Thanks guys!
-Christian

CPU Newegg.com - Intel Core i5-2500 Sandy Bridge 3.3GHz (3.7GHz Turbo Boost) 4 x 256KB L2 Cache 6MB L3 Cache LGA 1155 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor BX80623I52500

totals up to be $1100.90 with that extra $100 you can either upgrade the cpu to an i7 2600 over the i5 2500, or upgrade the GPU from the 6950 to a 6970, or get something larger than the 20" monitor, but that monitor is one of the highest rated monitors under $200 I found, and also look at the keyboard and mouse and change them if you don't like them, the keyboard I like a lot and the mouse is kind of a generic winner for lots of people, I've used it and liked it.

so tell me what you think of it

that build up there is pretty much a dream build with up to date hardware...

just putting more input into the build Peter made, i think you should upgrade the CPU to an i7 2600... the difference 6950 between the 6970 is not that much more noticeable and the increased processing power can improve the overall performance of the computer, for the most part.

If you want a fast computer to load up to get to work right away, instead of spend the xtra 100$ on a cpu and gfx card (if your satisfied the way it is), just purchase a Solid State Drive and go over by a few dollars... (corsair 60gb SSD)

The only problems I see with that build are : Contains no case which run about 100 and no windows 7 which are also about 100. Also what is your opinion on changing that i5 into an AMD hexacore? I've never personally used one so im not sure what your guys opinion is on that note.

Re: Best Desktop I can get for 1200?

The ram he has listed is Sold Out, as in no longer on sale at that price. I would get this instead but it's a little more.

Newegg.com - G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL9D-8GBRL

Instead of the ATI 6950 I would go with GTX 460, it's $170 after a $30 rebate

Newegg.com - EVGA 01G-P3-1370-TR GeForce GTX 460 (Fermi) 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card

I wouldn't buy a "re-certified" power supply, not even a PC Pwr. & Clg. And you don't need a 750 watt power supply. I would go with this for $5 more after a rebate.

Newegg.com - CORSAIR Enthusiast Series CMPSU-650TX 650W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS Certified Active PFC Compatible with Core i7 Power Supply

You could get a slightly smaller hard drive.

Newegg.com - Western Digital Caviar Black WD7501AALS 750GB 7200 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Hard Drive -Bare Drive

Maybe a Microsoft Wireless keyboard instead of the Razer

Newegg.com - Microsoft J9C-00001 Ergonomic Wireless Keyboard 6000
