I went with ASUS P5B-E Socket, $159.99

I doesnt offer SLI, but I dont need that. Basic motherboard, comes with good software and good manual.

Aside from Asus and Gigabyte, what other motherboard brands can you suggest with lower prices than those of the two I mentioned? Gigabyte DS3 is already pricey for me

How bout ECS? I heard many bad reviews on that motherboard but base on my personal experience, my ECS motherboard had experienced already a short circuit from my PSU unit and is still alive.. I dont know why there are so many critics on ECS..

And also Foxconn? are they also good?
