It's actually 5% above cost. All car stereo is just about 50% off. That's a good rule of thumb for car stereo stuff.

Actually the discount is not 5% above cost, it is whatever Best Buy decides to give us. I have gone through and checked the actually cost on around 50 products from various departments and then looked at the employee cost, and the percentage was all over the place. In some cases (on a certain tv) the employee cost was almost double of what the store had payed for it.

I never realized that. I'll have to check some more prices. I know we're supposed to get Insignia stuff dirt cheap, but when I check certain things like dvd players they are not even that cheap.
