Default The best budget video card

Which video card would be the best for running games like doom 3 and half life 2 on high, but it has to be under $250

my x1800xt 256mb can run bother of those at max, it only cost me $200

Certainly the X1800XT, I just got one and it can run everything at max settings including F.E.A.R., BF2, Half Life 2 etc.

Also check Tomshardware for the VGA charts
