You can mod that mobo to SLI if you want and when the Phys-x comes out i think it will be PCI-e x 16, right? Its just preparing you for the future when you might need that extra slot.

I dont think that the PhysX Card will be using a PCI-E 16x, it's gonna use the PCI or PCI-E 4x, or the chip will be built on the mobo(integrated)
