hmm.. im thinking about gettin the X1300PRO will that card be better then the 9800XT??

Mmm no, the X1600PRO would be more along the lines of the modern 9800XT with faster clocks and SM3. Of course that'll run you $150.

Your best bet for a $100 gaming card is the AGP 6600GT, it's about $125 in USD on newegg.com

Shouldn't be to much more expensive elsewere.

I have a good card...
Its a x300
This series might be around that budget,
It gets about 30-40fps on css

My setup was:
256 ram
2.8 p4 Processor

u might find a good deal at newegg.com
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...y=48&ATTR10=2010380048+1069609639&Order=price
I know its not canadian dollars, BUT
0.8704 US Dollars (USD) is equal to 1 Canadian Dollar
so divide how much something costs by 0.8704 to get exact amt.
(The shipping should not b that much)

So how is it better then, it has slower clocks, same amount of pipelines, a worse memory interface and same amount of memory. The only thing it has on the 9600XT is the GDDR2, which isn't even worth it. Is it even technically better than DDR? It bombed as a technology. The X1300PRO AGP does have SM3 over the 9800XT's SM2, but that won't make a difference in older games ... since neither card will run current and future games at good settings and FPS anyway.

well im really thinking about the X1600 PRO but ppl say my PSU wont run well on it
( 300 watts )
