I'm building a new pc that needs to last for a couple of years at least.

At the moment I'm only building the base which include processor, ram and motherboard.

I will be picking up the antec 300 case but would need an idea or two on what PSU to pick up.
I will probably pick up a HD4870 in the coming months unless anyone has other ideas.

Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550 2.83GHz - Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550 2.83GHz (FSB 1333MHz) Socket 775 L2 12MB Cache Retail Boxed Processor - Ebuyer
OCZ 2GB (2x1GB) DDR2 1000MHz/PC2-8000 - OCZ 2GB (2x1GB) DDR2 1000MHz/PC2-8000 Platimum Memory CL5 LIFETIME WARRANTY - Ebuyer
Asus P5Q PRO P45 Socket 775 - Asus P5Q PRO P45 Socket 775 8 Channel Audio ATX Motherboard - Ebuyer

This build will probably be more geared towards FSX and future flight sims.

if u want a future ready pc ur going to need 4 gb or ram look at these:
Corsair 4GB (2x2GB) DDR2 800MHz/PC2-6400 XMS2 DHX Memory Non-ECC Unbuffered CL4(4-4-4-12) Lifetime Warranty - Ebuyer
OCZ 4GB (2x2GB) DDR2 800Mz/PC2-6400 Memory REAPER X EDITION ENHANCED BANDWITH CL4 - Ebuyer

also this is a very good power supply that is recommended alot around here:
Corsair 750W TX PSU - 120mm Fan, 80+% Efficiency, Single +12V Rail - Ebuyer
its very good quality and the price is unbeatable

other then that ur pc looks good from what u got up there

edit: also depending on ur screen resolution u might want to get a 1gb 4870, if ur screen res is 1920x1200 or above get a 1gb model if its under that a 512 will be fine
