If seagate did have a engineering problem which made them suffer deeply I hope they work.

Cons: Blue screened the OS Windows 7 after 10 months 9 days. I couldn't do a startup repair so I reinstalled Windows 7 and all the drivers. Work fine just long enough to patch and load steam for my kid and rebooted tested. Dropped my son off 3 hours away. Windows in a deadly loop cannot repair OS.
Other Thoughts: I had heard from some engineering friends that Seagate had gotten better with there drive electronics and engineering. I've had bad luck with them in the past. Should have went with my gut and bought a Western Digital.
