I know the 2x1gb tracers have really went downhill so it's possible the 2x2gb ones have as well. Just to be on the safe side I would get the Gskill pi black's instead.

Newegg.com - G.SKILL PI Black 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory - Desktop Memory

Better is subjective and for some reason the only that matters apparently..

Its the same honestly... Most RAM cap about the same place and these two RAM's are spec'ed around the same

We don't know honestly, just like the q6600, the Crucial Ballistix/Tracer were super popular.. .we even used to call them "MagicStix" but later they went crappy by becoming single-sided DIMM Modules (like ancient RAM, DDR-133 like...)

We don't know if this RAM is also affected too so buy it if you want to play a game of chance, but I'd rather go do roll a dice than risk buying single-sided RAM
