Bad idea?

With sandy bridge being hot and 2011 socket being released this year, would building an i7 1366 be a bad idea? Just havent seen many, if anybody, on this forum building with the 1366 socket.

That's because the 1336 socket has been replaced with 1155 - not 'officially', but in terms of performance and price 1155 is definitely 1336's successor. Officially, 2011 is set to replace 1336 later this year.
And yes, building a 1336 system is generally a bad idea right now, because even though it's still the same price as 1155, the performance definitely isn't as good.

Thanks Yami. So, if i dont want to wait for 2011 i should go with 1155 over 1366. I'll start looking into sandy bridge then
