That's impressive, and if it worked out, it would be great for backup. But something that's closer on the horizion and just faster is MRAM. Imagine HDD-capacity thumb drives. Now, imagine taking the couple of memory chips in there, and spreading them over a 3.5" form factor. Now, imagine putting those same chips in RAM, and having NO startup time because it's non-volatile. That's what MRAM could do. And it's closer than we think.

That may be true, but India has also produced its share of inventors, political leaders, and other smart people. I mean, look, they know several languages (India has like 26 or something, so they know at least 3) as well as English. That's 3 more than the average American. No wonder Dell outsources to them. And no, I'm not kidding.

India having 26 languages proves my point that it's a third world country. Regional languages, and no unified language is 1 of the many aspects about third world countries. They are unable to work together and support eachother due to the fact that they all speak different languages.

the terms 1st 2nd and 3rd world just refer to geopolitical influences/ identities after WWII

1st world = democratic-industrial countries
2nd world = communist-socialist states
3rd world = all other countries

since the democratic-industrial and the communist-social groups were reeally fighting over control of all of the real power and money, the left over, 3rd world, countries were left with very little. The terms are really not, however, based on the current characteristics of those countries... although that is how many people are beginning to use them

I'm not arguing that it's a third world country. That's perfectly correct. However, the way I perceived it, you were implying that they deserve credit just for political purposes. I don't know why they mentioned his place of birth, but.... does it really matter that they did?

What about Gandhi, C.V. Raman, and Nehru? Look 'em up, if you want.

India has many interesting peculiarities. Bollywood; India produces the most movies. Ever seen one? I haven't either. Sightseeing? It's amazing. Culture? About as old as they get.

What I wanna say is we, as Americans (I don't know about the British and Canadians), are largely unaware of our surroundings. Me as well as you. I'm not insulting anyone here. I'm just attempting to show you that just because we don't hear/know much about a certain place, doesn't mean it isn't that great.

You cant understand them... they dont know anything 99% of the time.


The reason is dell doesnt care about quality service just cheap service. Which would obviously be a better idea if they knew anything when you call dell.
