this CPU is pretty much as the Brisbane 3600+ except its 200mhz more:

Newegg.com - AMD Athlon 64 X2 4000+ Brisbane 2.1GHz 2 x 512KB L2 Cache Socket AM2 65W Processor - Retail

Thanks for the suggestions, Apok. I showed him the parts that I picked out, and he was pretty pleased, but he decided to go with an e6750 since he had a little more cash to spend, and also decided to go with this audio interface card:

M-Audio Delta 44 from zZounds.com!

He's looked at cards on that site before, and that one has ample amount of 1/4" jacks that he needs/wants. So here's his list now:
