Default ATI to Nvidia

I didn't see any sticky or anything about going from a ATI video card to Nvidia and how to remove ATI drivers? What ways are there that wont cause problems when doing this?

Go to Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel. Uninstall ATI Display drivers. Then take out ATI graphics card. Next, install Nvidia graphics card. Then download latest Nvidia display drivers, and install them.

You can remove the ATI drivers after you install the new Nvidia card as well if you are scared.
