Until ATi can get around to putting out working Linux drivers, I'm all for nVidia. My X1600Pro AGP hasn't worked right in Linux since I bought it, and even AMD's latest driver offering can't boot the system properly and work right. I've never had any issues with nVidia in either Windows or Linux, while ATi's drivers always seem to mess up something. ATi makes nice cards, just as good as nVidia's, but until they can get competent drivers to power those cards, I don't have any reason to support them.
