Default Athlon X2 Dual Core 4400...

I have as a processor an Athlon 64 3200+ and I am planning to change it for Athlon X2 Dual Core 4400. I do a lot of gaming and video editing, so do you think this would be a good choice?

Thanks in advance for your help...

you won't notice too much of a performance leap in games although there will be an improvement. in multitasking you will see a great improvement and in video encoding you should expect to see more than double the performance

I don't regret buying a 4400 that's for certain.

You will definitely notice a huge difference in Video activity, and with multitasking, and when multi-threaded games come out, it will be awesome. I've got a 4200+ and its awesome.
