At first I wasn't even considering this processor because it only has 512 kb of l2 cache, and I was told 1mb is a HHHUUUUGGGGEEEE improvement over 512kb. So the options are an Athlon 64 3700, or an Athlon 64 3800 X2. The 3700 has 1mb of l2 cache, .2ghz faster, and is 110 bucks cheaper, the 3800 X2, however, has 2 cores, but with less cache and slower speeds. Which one would have noticably better performance for gaming, and under which circumstances would one perform better than the other. Thanks oodles
