Default ASUS Striker Extreme?

is the ASUS Striker Extreme good? or is there something better for less? I was looking at the eVGA 780i also

if you can get an evga 680i A1 that'll do you just fine.. if you got the money for the 780i, go for it

if you don't care about dual (nvidia) cards.. then go for an x38 mobo

x38 motherboard?

of the formula one. yeah i see that one. is it any good compared to the 680i?

in terms of overclocking and stability, it is the best board you can get

but if you want SLi, then the 680/780i is the board of choice

i myself have a evga 680i A1 and i'm in love w/ it.. got my quad clocked at 3.2 for everyday use.. and even hit 4.0 ghz for a 3dmark06 run

oh im sorry i forgot to mention i was dumb and sold the computer in my sig...it was by far the worst thing ive ever done = \. so now im trying to rebuild pretty much the same computer with a Q6600 instead of the E6600 and a 8800GT instead of the 7950GT. now im just stuck on what is a good motherboard i can get.

unless your getting SLI x38 or p35 is the way to go

if your wanting to save money and not sli'ing, go p35 imo.

Also, i got a p35 ds3r im selling. Pm me if your intrested
