Asus Sabertooth Gen 3?

So, I'm looking to do a new build. For the mobo, I want to get the Sabertooth R2.0. Unfortunately, newegg is out of stock and only has the first revision in stock. In my searches, I see everyone saying that Gen 3 of the board is going to release "soon." Anyone know when "soon" might be? Also, should I wait for Gen 3 or just bite the bullet and buy the original Sabertooth? Thanks.

Just get a cheaper board, as it makes hardly any difference.

Yes. Most all modern boards all have the same stuff, just give or take on certain features or amount of certain features.

Unless you will be using 2 or 3 PCI-E 3 cards in SLI or Crossfire (and I mean the top end Titan/680 7970/GHE), need 8 SATA ports, or want ugly brown color scheme, just get the R2.0 Pro.

If you want 4 USB3 ports in the back and 8 SATA ports without the PCI-E 3 the ASRock takes the cake.

I don't mean match as in the same color, I mean it as in similar shades. Electric blue and olive green don't mesh well. Olive green and dirt brown? Match!
