ASUS Rampage III Extreme vs. MSI Big Bang-XPower

hello, first time builder here looking for opinions on these two motherboards
the

ASUS Rampage III Extreme

and the

MSI Big Bang-XPower

i'm looking for which one seems more future proof and an over all better decision

whats your budget for your mother board?

at first it was around $200 and it just started creeping up from there i would like to stay under $300

can you please explain to me why you chose that motherboard, as in your thought process of why that one over the ones i posted

but if you are dead set oni one of those mother boards i would go with the MSI Big Bang

herpa derp, well thank you for the help ill look into the asus board you showed me a little closer

I would go with the Asus P6X58D Premium unless your planning on a "custom" water-cooled system or even something more extreme. Those other motherboards won't be offering you any increase in performance at air-cooled speeds. And even if you do go with a custom water-cooled the P6X58D is fully capable of extreme performance.
