I bought this,
Asus P5WD2-P Intel 955 Socket 775 Motherboard and
Intel Pentium D 830 3.0gGHz DT 800FSB Socket 775,
The processor did not come with a heatsink and fan.
What make and model will fit this processor and motherboard.
I looked all over the net and coul find no real answers.

I hadnt actually read anything on what uzi recommended, so I cant give my 2 cents on that.

I can tell you that the Zalman 7000 and 7700 are really good HS&F kits. The 7700CU has extremely good cooling power, as far as air-cooling goes.

If you dont plan on doing any overclocking, I would go with a 7000 AlCu.
