Asus P5Q3 Deluxe/WiFi-AP @n Motherboard, Memory compatibility question;

Hi, I am looking to buy the Asus P5Q3 motherboard as listed in the title, on the asus website uk.asus.com is lists the motherboard as being compatible with DDR3 memory. It sais it is compatible with 2000mhz at overclock and 1600mhz,1333mhz,1066mhz as normal. I am looking t obuy some OCZ PC3-16000 Platinum enhanced Bandwidth 2x1024 DDR3 memory which has 2000mhz clock speed as stadard. Will this be compatible?

Thankyou

DDR3 Memory isn't a big difference over DDR2. I would suggest going with a cheaper kit of DDR2, 2x1gig or something near the same price but 4gig.

If you get 4 gig you will need a 64bit OS to utilize it.
