Default Asus P5e

Whats a board that is like this one, but cheaper?
I won't be OCing to much, I'll just be OCing the processor.
And will a different motherboard effect the temperatures of the processor?
Or should I just stick to this one?

You won't change the temps based on the Board..

Since you're not Overclocking much, a good Asus P5Q Pro and you're set, its a **** not cheaper

Ya 4.0ghz is still easy with the Asus P5Q Pro, 8 Phase Power Design on it

Newegg.com - DFI LANPARTY DK X48-T2RS LGA 775 Intel X48 ATX Intel Motherboard - Intel Motherboards

or you can get that too, problem is they got really good overclocking options, however some people have difficulty overclocking with it

A board doesn't affect performance much, maybe 1 -3 FPS at most

I guess I have to stick to this board then and hope to find a way to make other things cheaper.

Would you suggest open box stuff or..?
