Question asus p5b-E mobo

just got my mobo and was wondering how do i know what version of mobo i got. my box had a sticker saying it supports Quad core cpu but on the newegg site on the speck sheet it sais it only suppurts up to the core dual xtreme. im hoping i got the new version of the board so i dont have to updat the bios.

Programs Like CPU Z or motherboard moniter 5, Speedfan or everest home may tell you.

Also your manual should say..

Or when you Enter the CMOS Setup/POST Screen.
