I cannot let this thread be sent to the abyss! I'm not gunna lie, I'm an AMD fan-boy. The ONLY reason I would be buying an Intel chip is because it's more bang for the buck. Please dear god let the Phenoms be good.

according to some new input.. the 9700 phenom is predicted to outperform the q6600, and for cheaper.... Id say thats pretty darn good.

im picking one up at release, and waiting for the g92 gts later my 7950 will hold out for a bit.

I Think im going to wait for am2+ mobo w/ regular SLI.... especially if its Asus.... I love their stuff.. Until then i think im going to get the asus am2 mvp wifi deluxe....

I hope we get an AM2+ mobo in the $100-$120 range with no RAID or SLI/Crossfire, a nice budget performer, like the DS3L or the IP35-E and AM2 equivalents. I'm just not the type of person that would pay $200 for a motherboard. It's a little steep IMO. The only things I could find on NCIX are almost $300
