that contreast ration is quite low, i wood go for 2000, and darksideleader that 2ms will be alot better then a 5ms exspecially when playing fps(by the way, why do u have ur hd tv in ur sig

I went to the asus website and it says it has a 2000:1 ratio

2000... lol, 1000 is great.... i've got 3000:1 dynamic, and dear jesus its bright

Contrast ratio measures the difference between the brightest and darkest color. (black is darker, white is brighter on higher contrast ratios)

Yup, better contrast ratio, better it looks and mine is only 700:1. Figure if ima get a 22", ill spend the extra money to get a good screen.

both mine are 1600:1 and they look amazing, sometimes i get ehad aches, makes sure u run dvi, i have one running dvi right now and the other running vga, and the dvi is brighter clearer and sharper so i use the dvi as my main lcd.

Too bad you weren't in the Market around a week before christmas. I picked up my 22" Acer for $199.99 on Newegg, after it sold out they bumped it back up to 249.99.

I dont like that one, the specs on it are lower, same as the acer i have now.

i very much disliek acer monitors, for me its lg, or samsung, but the asus seems very apealing, by the looks of it it might be a lg panel aswell.
