so i got one of these to replace the stock HSF that came with my processor. i am having a bit of difficulty installing is and the guide that came with it isnt clear at all. my problem is that i can only get two of the push pins down on the mobo, the other two just stay up or pop the one opposite from it up when it goes down. whats up with that?

Make sure you take out the motherboard to install it as it's MUCH easier to get it seated right. Have the mobo in your hands sideways and align the pins to where the tips are just in the holes and then push two down diaganol from each other and then do the other two. Don't be afraid to push pretty hard with the motherboard sideways in your hand.

er, taking the motherboard out at this point isnt much of an option, lol. ill work at it when i get home from work.

Taking the motherboard out is the best way to do it....you are going to have a hard time if you don't.

Yes, take the motherboard out. That mounting system is very badly designed.
