Hey guys (and gals...maybe), I'm building up myself for the first time and I've been out of the game for quite a while.
So plz any comments and/or criticism
Do u think this build will do for a good gaming rig?
MUST ... PLAY ... SHOGUN 2 :(

P8P67 LGA 1155 ATX Intel Motherboard

Intel Core i5 2500 3.30GHz 6MB LGA1155 CPU - HD Graphics

Samsung 1TB Spinpoint F3 7200rpm Hard Drive - SATA-II, 32MB

Corsair GS-600 ATX 600W Power Supply

2x4GB corsair vengeance 1600MHz DDR3

Cooler Master HAF 912 AT

Windows 7 Home Premium 64Bit

almost forgot about GPU
Was gonna go for GTX570 but opted for a HD6950 instead
still not sure if i should get 1GB or 2GB, price diff not that much

havent looked at dvd/BRay drive yet, will later...

I really really think that you should opt for a 2500k instead because for $10 more you get the option of unlocked overclocking.
Other than that I think it looks good.

Newegg.com - LG Black 10X BD-ROM 16X DVD-ROM SATA Internal Blu-ray Disc Combo Model UH10LS20 LightScribe Support - Blu-Ray Drives
I suggest that for blu-ray drive. Can burn cds dvds, but not blu-rays (who needs to burn blu-rays? :) )

Also, the HD graphics on this cpu will not be very good for gaming. You'd need a dedicated gpu for that.
Newegg.com - SAPPHIRE 100315L Radeon HD 6850 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card with Eyefinity This one probably won't get you to full settings on Shogun 2, but it will definitely get you to medium settings.

unt sheisse, forgot about my GPU
im gonna use a HD6950, was thinking of a GTX570 (good move, yes? no?)

ok this is my final build, would u guys agree :hrmph:

CPU: Intel Core i5-2500K 3.3 GHz, Socket 1155, Sandy Bridge
Mobo: Asus P8P67 LE Intel P67 ATX 1155 (Revised B3 Chipset)
GPU: Sapphire Radeon HD 6950 2GB
PSU: Corsair GS-600 ATX Power Supply 600W
HDD: Samsung Spinpoint F3 1TB SATA II 7200RPM 32MB
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 2x4GB, DDR3-1600
Case: Coolermaster HAF912 ATX Mid Tower - Black
Monitor: LG W2486L-PF 1080p 24 Inch LED

Also, since you are getting the 2500k, I assume overclocking, you should get an aftermarket cooler for that CPU. I cannot recommend any because I have never actually used any but I hear good things about the Coolermaster Hyper 212+.

I also think that Asus P8P67 LE isn't made to overclock (although it can). Might want to opt for a regular.
