Antec TPII 430W PSU, any good?

Does anyone use one of these PSU's? I am looking for good replacement for the piece of junk no name I have now. It's got the right price tag on it for me, too.

yes antec is a good brand and that psu is good, im getting the samething but just 550W

I just bought that one (TPII 430w.) I love it. Very quite vs my old one. Maybe look into the 550w if you think you might upgrade other stuff in the furture.

I am running what I have in my sig. I plan on eventually upgrading to a 6600GT (AGP). That PSU looks pretty good. But is it worth saving $20 or will it be as reliable as the Antec?

Fortron is a GREAT brand. And take notice of the 36A on the 12V rail. That's a ton. That's 2A more than the 430W Antec you have there.

id just go for the normal 550w tpII

I got the TPII 430w, It is a good PSU, It has a fan controller that will adjust your fan speeds depending on the temp and load of the PSU. You don't have to use the fan controller if you don't want.
