Looking for a new build that will be for mainly games, with some Maya and others thrown in. Looking for around $1500 US. Suggestions are appreciated...
Another question for you guys, how hard is it to build it myself? I was thinking of getting an Alienware but I have been a regular reader on here for quite some time and have figured out that I can save alot of money by buying seperatly and constructing it myself... again, comments would be great

i love that motherboard
overclocks like a dream and performs on par with a 680i motherboard and sometimes performs better
i would recommend it and the vanilla 110 buck version to anyone

wow great response there b1gapl great build and a helpful link to a guide. motherboard wouldn't of been my first choice but looks good

lol saltynay, i just have one question for you.

why are you so stuck on the abit AW9D-max? just wondering.

lol...I was wondering that too. You usually recommend that board on a C2D build. I saw the board....looks pretty cool, but a little pricey.

This looks like the final build, anything else? *Need to add Vista to the list
