Default Another low end GPU from Nvidia?

im not sure if this is new, but i've never seen it before on newegg.

the GeForece 6500

it seems to be pretty much exactly like all of nvidia's other cards with 4 pipes.

they need to stop making low end cards, theres enough of them.

could someone tell me if the 6500 is new or not?

Hmm. I never saw that pop up, so I don't know if it is new or not. However, I don't see nvidia releasing a card for their old 6xxx series when they are already releasing cheap budget cards in the 7xxx cards

EDIT: After some googling, it looks as if it was conceived a little while back:

I wouldn't even consider the 7300GS for about 100 dollars you could just get a 6600GT/6800 which would do much better

yeah, but stupid people see that the higher the number the better the card.

someone will think "7300 is higher than 6600/6800, it must be better" and go and buy a POS card, unless their not gaming.
