ok i committed the crime of purchasing an 8600gts a while back in an emergency situation ( old graphics card died and was only thing i could get my hands on straight away). so now i'm looking at getting a real card and have stumbled upon

Is there any other makes of this card that are better/cheaper etc ?
Also is a 500w power supply enough to run this with my setup now?
(amd 3700+, wd raptor 36gig and random 80gig hd)
and with new setup coming in the near future involving 1 of the new penryn quad cores.
