what are you talking about the FSB's aren't the same??? They can take 800,1066,1333 FSB

they don't have to be the same, as long as it supports higher or the same as what the cpu requires

q6600=1066
mobo supports 1333

it says it supports Core 2 Quad, plus most (if not all), if they have 1333 or even 1600fsb support, it supports 1066

even if the board only supported 1066, and supported core 2 quad it would still work =D.

also the mobo i said is cheaper

Thanks a lot everyone. Prototype, I took a look at the MOBO you recommended and it looks really nice, but I can't get it around here. Thanks a lot anyway. And everyone else, what do you think about the one I posted?

no one is ganging up on you, we're just telling you the facts, if we didn't then how would you ever learn more about this stuff. We are all friends here .



The p5k is a good mobo, you could go with that if you wanted.
