Who the **** told you that? No they wont smoke em, the higher memory only comes to play in high resolutions, in fact my card smokes yours.

If there is one thing that ATI has over NVIDIA right now, it is at least the naming convention.... They dropped the suffix, makes it GOBS easier to diferientiate the cards with just the model name.

I agree... the HD 3850 or 70 makes it much nicer than the GT (256) GT (512) GTS (320) GTS (640) GTX, etc...

I'm going to be running a 24", 1920 x 1200... What kind of GPU do I need to play Crysis on that on very high settings? Will dual 3870's do it at decent FPS???

u should be fine with duel 3870's ul probably be just above 30 fps. im planning on going duel 3870's myself. to get like 40-50 fps in crysis on high settings at 1280x1024, i also plan on playing crysis multiplayer quite a bit.
