Well I have a AMD Duron 700MHz compaq PC that came with Windows ME. It's now running Windows XP and is used for high end stuff all the time. If you used it, you'd be amazed that it is running Windows XP AND runs really fast. It amazes me. AMD is NOT bad quality, nor is Intel.
