I am still having a ton of trouble deciding between going phenom, or Q series... I've always been an AMD fan, but I hear Intel Q6600 is faster than the phenom 9750. When it boils down to it, the upgrade in motherboard and processor that I'm going to make is about $400 for both. So price is not an issue. What are your thoughts on Intel quads vs. AMD quads? If you have any suggestions on processors that are around $200 or less, please let me know
New egg has a combo deal running right now where I could get:
Newegg.com - AMD Phenom 9850 BLACK EDITION 2.5GHz 4 x 512KB L2 Cache 2MB L3 Cache Socket AM2+ 125W Quad-Core Processor - CPUs / Processors
and run it on:
Newegg.com - BIOSTAR A770 A2+ AM2+/AM2 AMD 770 ATX AMD Motherboard - AMD Motherboards
for only $250 until I save up another $200 to get a nice am2+ mobo
