Im thinking about geting a venive 3200+ but i was wondering would a AMD Athlon 64 4000+ San Diego 1GHz FSB 1MB L2 Cache Socket 939 Processor, AMD Athlon 64 3800+ Venice 1GHz FSB 512KB L2 Cache Socket 939 Processor, or a AMD Athlon 64 4000+ ClawHammer 1GHz FSB 1MB L2 Cache Socket 939 Processor be a beter choice.

Lol this is insane. But yes I would go with an Opteron 148 Socket 939 and a DFI Lanparty nF4 SLI mobo.

Its just a thing between us. Either one you mentioned or either Opteron will be good. Just your decision. Do you OC at all?

I vote for one I don't think you listed. AMD Athlon 64 3700+ Venice. 1mb cache and very zippy. Lots of potential

I say the same thing sense you said you dont know how to OC. You only want to get the Opterons when you know how to OC very well. A 3700+ will make you happy.
