Default AMD Processors 4200+ v. 4400+

What would you do, spend $360 on the 4200+, or spend another $100 and get the 4400+ for $460? PC is going to be for gaming.

Neither. Step down to a X2 3800+ and OC it. If you must get the 4200+ or the 4400+, get the 4400+ for the extra cache.

Anoher note: make sure to wait until late July when AMD should drop the prices on its CPUs. The X2 4800+ might drop down to $450ish level, so you could pick that up.
