may call me stupid but, you know the amd opteron do you get 2 opterons in the box when you buy, or you have to buy them seperatly heres a link

no you don't get 2 opterons in the box. however some opterons have 2 cores inside (in one chip) which basically means you have 2 CPU's in 1.

I believe 1-8 way means the CPU is capable of "emulating" that many CPU's. like Intel's Hyperthreading, it basically means it pretends to be more than one CPU, so that the computer will send multiple instructions to it at one time.
