AMD or Intel Quad cores?

I was wondering which company has better quad cores? Intel or AMD?

AMD's only advantage? Price. If you are on more of a budget, then AMD would be an option, but even now the Intel chips are dropping prices like mad.

Why AMD if you never overclock ?

Q6600 is cheaper than Phenom 9850 at newegg, and it is slightly faster ? Also, it consume less power.

I say intel if you overclock or don't

I still plan on using AMD in my next build... if there are still around when that finally happens. They will probably be on socket AM7+/- by then.
