ID-WHA???

IDE has been gone for a very long time now. Everything is SATA format now.
Fortunately opticals are $15 so just get a new one.

so the optical drives that i have wont work ?

the drives have other ports in the back near the ide port, the other ports say "digital audio" and "analog audio" they were bought in 2007 - 2008

do they make an ide to sata converter or do i have to buy a new dvd drive like this one ?

It would be easier to just buy a new drive. A SATA DVD burner can be had for around 15 or so bucks. An appropriate adapter solution will cost the same.
